The Tigers shuffled the deck in their outfield for the second consecutive day, flipping left-handed bats by designating center fielder Tyler Collins for assignment and selecting the contract of outfielder Alex Presley from Triple-A Toledo on Sunday.

Resides in Trophy Club, TX during the offseason...Selected the American Baseball Coaches Association NJCAA Division I Player of the Year in 2011 after hitting .488 (105x215) with 34 doubles, four triples, 19 home runs, 82 RBI and 16 stolen bases in 59 games as a sophomore at Howard College in Texas...Saw action in 35 games with Coppell in the Texas Collegiate League during the summer of 2011, hitting .310 (45x145) with four doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 22 RBI -- named the top prospect in the Texas Collegiate League by Baseball America...Participated in the Dreams Come True program and attended the Tigers Winter Caravan and TigerFest...Recommended/signed by Tim Grieve for the Tigers.
